i really loved reading the parts with Merry and Pippin and Treebeard, though it was hard not to read treebeards speech REALLLYY slowly to get his voice right in my head xD haha!!

Gandalf and the warrior trio are meeting with Theoden at the moment! Loved when the asked to take Gandalf’s staff! He comes out with some funny lines!

I love finding random humor in the book! It truely shows Tolkien knew what he was doing and when a bit of funny was appropriate in a serious story!!

I thought it was kinda weird how the hobbits [Merry particularly] had really nothing to do with the fact the ents went to Isenguard…i liked that Merry persuaded them to go in the film!

Interesting how the book is set out, we get through the whole of Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli and a bit of Merry and Pippin..then we have the whole of Sam and Frodo..interesting but i suppose it makes sense :)
